OKLAHOMA CITY – Because of the COVID19 pandemic, Governor Kevin Stitt has extended the renewal period for all occupational licenses until December 22.

However, State Labor Commissioner Leslie Osborn encourages licensees to renew an occupational license with the Oklahoma Department of Labor no later than its actual expiration date to avoid processing delays from anticipated high demand on/after December 22.

Any expired ODOL license not renewed by that date will be inactive and the licensee will be unable to legally perform licensed activities, Osborn noted.

Oklahoma has approximately 240 occupational licensing categories, a spokesperson said Tuesday.
