BancFirst sees 3Q profit of $33.4M

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – BancFirst Corp. (BANF) on Thursday reported a third-quarter profit of $33.4 million. The bank, based in Oklahoma City, said it had earnings of $1 per share. Earnings, adjusted for costs related to mergers and acquisitions, came to $1.07 per share. The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1 per share. BancFirst shares have climbed 13% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $56.28, a decrease of slightly more than 3% in the last 12 months.
