From staff reports CHICKASHA – The Chickasha Chamber of Commerce recently hosted its 102nd annual Banquet and Awards, bringing together more than 400 members for an evening of celebration and recognition.
During the event, outstanding contributions of several local individuals and businesses were celebrated. The awards recognized those who have gone above and beyond to enhance their community.
Award winners included:
• Business of the Year: Liberty National Bank
• Small Business of the Year: Rock Island Candy Co.
• Volunteer of the Year: Tammy Watts • Citizen of the Year: Mary Parrish
• Event of the Year: Wings & Wheels
• Young Professional of the Year: Alexis Johnson
• Public Servant of the Year: City Clerk Susan McDaniel
• Christmas Town Award: Russell Thompson
• Woman of the Year: Crystal McFarland
• Civic Hall of Fame Inductees: Patti and John Rogstad
• Civic Hall of Fame Legacy Inductee: Steve La-Forge In addition to these award winners, also recognized were members who achieved Legacy Status for continuous membership of 40 years with the Chamber. This milestone is a significant achievement, highlighting their long-standing commitment and invaluable support of the Chamber and the community. This year’s Legacy Award recipients were:

• Parallel Ag The Chamber is Chickasha’s largest nonprofit business membership organization and is comprised of more than 370 member firms, representing half of the private sector employment in Grady County.
