From staff reports The City of Lawton is accepting bid proposals for the lease of 12 recreational vehicle sites at School House Slough on Lake Lawtonka.
The bid application will include a list of available RV sites, with descriptions and the associated annual lease prices. Base fees for the RV sites range from $4,238 to $5,146, with prices varying based on the proximity to the lake and the availability of sewer services.
Bidders are asked to submit a one-time payment above the base annual lease price for limited access to the specified RV space(s) as outlined in the application.
Those interested in bidding on more than one RV site should prioritize their choices in the application.
Any bid submitted represents a one-time payment. Should a bidder opt to renew their lease, they will only need to cover the base fee the city is taking bids on, without any additional charges.
A map and an application form outlining the 12 available spaces are available at LawtonOK.gov. All leases will expire on Dec. 31, 2025.
The bid application period opened on Feb. 19. Bids must be submitted by 5 p.m. March 5 to the City Clerk’s Office at City Hall, 212 SW 9th Street, Lawton.
