Safe Center believes in empowering survivors to break the cycle of violence, offering services that are voluntary, nonjudgmental and sensitive to trauma.
They stress that services are available to all who seek them.
The center plays a vital role for both Stephens and Jefferson counties, providing critical services including a 24-hour crisis hotline (580) 252-4357, emergency shelter, counseling, legal assistance and other essential support.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony, held at Safe Center, located at 1370 N. Fifth St., is expected to last about 30 minutes, after which visitors are invited to tour the facility and learn more about its work.
