Filing dates for three Lawton City Council seats will be June 15-17, the Comanche County Election Board has stated. Those three-year term seats are Ward 6, currently held by Councilman Sean Fortenbaugh; Ward 7, currently held by Councilwoman Onreka Johnson, and Ward 8, currently held by Councilman Randy Warren. Voters will go to the polls Aug. 25. In the event of a runoff, polls will be open Nov. 3.
