Former Republican chairwoman named to Alliance Resources board

From staff reports A new member has been named to the board of directors of Tulsa’s Alliance Resource Partners L.P. and she’s a former national Republican Party leader, one who was considered a big supporter of Donald Trump in his presidential campaign.

The company said Ronna R. Mc-Daniel’s appointment was effective Dec. 11. She chaired the Republican National Committee from 2017 until the first quarter of 2024, where she also chaired its executive committee. McDaniel also served on the Board of Directors of the Romney Institute of Public Service and Ethics from 2016 to 2021. S he served as Chair of the Michigan Republican Party from 2015 to 2017 a nd as chair of the Michigan Delegation at the 2016 Republican National Convention.

McDaniel will also serve as a member of the Audit, Compensation and Conflicts Committees of the Board of Directors at Alliance Resources. The Board of Directors will be comprised of seven directors through the balance of 2024 and will be comprised of six directors starting Jan. 1, 2025, on ac count of the previously announced retirement on Dec. 31, 2024, of longtime director John Robinson.
