From staff reports The Fort Sill Transition Assistance Program will host an in-person hiring event May 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Building 2502, EXPO Room, Soldier for Life – Transition Complex.
The event is open to active duty service members (transitioning through September 2025), spouses, working-age dependents, retirees and veterans. More than 30 employers will be in attendance, offering a wide range of job opportunities across local, regional and national markets. All companies attending are actively hiring.
The TAP program remains committed to providing transitioning service members and their families with the resources and support needed for a successful move to civilian careers. This hiring event offers participants the chance to explore career opportunities, network directly with recruiters, and gain valuable insights into a variety of industries.
Confirmed employers as of April 28 included: Delaware Resource Group, the Texas Department of Public Safety, Robinson Innovations, Paycom, Tulsa Police Department, City National Bank, City of Lawton, Travis County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office, Comanche Nation Police Department, Comanche Nation Entertainment, Express Employment Professionals, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., Amarillo (Texas) Police Department, American Electric Power, Oklahoma City Police Department, Comanche County Detention Center, Grand Prairie (Texas) Police Department, KBR, and others.
