The once-popular George Magazine has returned to the publishing world.

The publication, which was initially started by John F. Kennedy Jr. in the mid-1990s, began publishing a second time under the guidance of publisher and editor Gene Ho, a former campaign photographer for Donald Trump. The remake published its first issue in October 2022.

The magazine’s executive managing editor, who uses the pseudonym Rachel Writeside Blonde, said the publication hopes to “unite America” and encourage Americans to become involved in civil discourse again and “actually talk about politics and where we stand,” she said.
“The legacy of JFK Jr. was to get the truth out, and he thought a magazine was the best way to do it by mixing pop culture and politics and to make it more entertaining. We all know people have to be entertained to pay attention. He was making politics interesting and entertaining, and I hope that’s what we can do as well,” she said.

The editor made her comments during an interview with Hilliary Media Group at the recent Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C.

George was “less right” when first published in 1995, but Rachel said the goal of the new George Magazine is to put the facts in print and allow readers to decide how they stand on various issues.

In addition to politics and pop culture, George editors will add sections about faith, religion, business, finance and luxury living, travel and a section for video interviews. Every magazine cover will feature a unique, striking image that is hand painted, according to the publication’s website.

The magazine was published from 1995 to 2001. Kennedy Jr., his wife and sister-in-law died in an airplane crash two years earlier.

The light plane Kennedy was piloting crashed into the Atlantic Ocean near Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
