Leadership Chickasha Now Accepting Applications

From staff reports CHICKASHA — Applications are open for the 2025/2026 Leadership Chickasha Class, a program designed to help community members grow into strong, effective leaders.

Leadership Chickasha, a seven- month program of the Chickasha Chamber of Commerce, aims to create 'informed, vigorous, skilled and effective leaders' for every part of the community. Participants meet for from 8 a.m. to 4 p .m., on the second Thursday of each month, September through March.

The program offers a broad, in-depth look into the Chickasha community. Participants connect with community leaders through conversations, tours and networking to learn about city and county government, business and industry, education and social services and discuss important issues facing the community.

The program aims to create well-informed leaders and help participants understand the challenges and opportunities in Chickasha, providing an intense overview of local issues.

Past attendees have shared how the class not only helped them improve and advance at work but also inspired them to invest more in the community. Several have gone on to advocate for citizens' needs and volunteer with partners like The Salvation Army and the local Soup Kitchen, putting their leadership skills directly into action.
