From staff reports Joe Locke, director of operations for Tyson Foods’ Pork Group, has been elected president of the Oklahoma Pork Council for the 2024-2025 membership year.
Locke brings more than 30 years’ experience with the pork industry to the leadership role. Prior to his position with Tyson Foods, he held senior leadership positions at Seaboard Foods.
His dedication to the pork industry extends beyond his professional career. Locke has been an active member of the Oklahoma Pork Council for years, serving on the board of directors, as an officer, and as a volunteer pitmaster.
As board president, Locke is committed to building unity, promoting continuous learning, and executing on the Oklahoma Pork Council’s strategic intentions.
