Man charged in bank robbery spree

    OKLAHOMA CITY – A suspect in the robbery of the Community Bank of Oklahoma in Chickasha has been taken into federal custody on four counts of bank robbery.

    Dwayne Edward Rasmussen, 65, is accused of robbing the WEOKIE Credit Union, on March 5; the Bank of the West, on March 18; RCB Bank, April 5 and Community Bank of Oklahoma on April 30.

    He allegedly entered the Chickasha bank around 9:15 a.m. on April 30 and told a bank employee to hand over money in denominations of $50 and $100, for a reported loss of $10,474.

    An affidavit states that while Rasmussen did this, he brandished what appeared to be a pistol with a green grip.
