From staff reports The Lawton-Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce will host its annual State of Education Luncheon at noon on Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2025, at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Uniting business, education and civic leaders to discuss the future of education in the region, this year’s featured speakers include Kevin Hime, Superintendent of Lawton Public Schools, and Dr. Shane Hunt, President of Cameron University. Together, they’ll offer insight into the evolving educational system, from K-12 initiatives to higher education goals, and how those efforts impact the local workforce and economy.
The event offers a vital platform for dialogue and partnership, emphasizing the powerful connection between education and economic development.
