OKLAHOMA CITY – An application to merge Stroud National Bank “with and into” The First Bank & Trust Co. of Duncan was approved Wednesday by the Oklahoma State Banking Board.
The board also approved a companion application from The First Bank & Trust of Duncan to establish a branch office at Stroud National Bank’s location in Stroud, at 300 W. Main Street.
The Duncan institution has $314 million in assets and the Stroud bank has $74 million in assets, Oklahoma Banking Commissioner Mick Thompson said.
According to its website, The First Bank & Trust Co. of Duncan has three locations in Duncan, full-service branch locations in Waurika and Healdton, two in Norman and two in Ardmore, plus a limited service branch bank in Edmond.
