From staff reports The deadline is Oct. 11 for voters who have not previously registered and would like to vote in the Nov. 5 general election.
Voters can check if they are registered by visiting elections.ok.gov or calling the Comanche County Election Board office, located inside the Comanche County Courthouse, 315 SW Fifth St. in Lawton. For this election, early absentee in-person voting will be at the Comanche County Fairgrounds Annex, 920 SW Sheridan Road, on the south side of the coliseum, election officials said in a news release. Early voting will not be available at the Comanche County Courthouse this election.
The dates for early voting will be from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Oct. 30, Oct. 31 and Nov. 1, and from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Nov. 2.
The deadline for voters to request an absentee ballot be mailed to them is Oct. 21.
