CCIDA approves new $1M Goodyear loan

LAWTON — The Comanche County Industrial Development Authority recently made a million-dollar pledge to help Lawton’s Goodyear plant finance a $320 million project. The CCIDA voted April 4 to approve a $1 million loan to Goodyear, which would be spread out over five years.

State, local leaders celebrate FISTA Innovation Park opening

LAWTON — Lawton’s new FISTA Innovation Park is proof of Oklahoma’s support for the aerospace and defense industries, Gov. Kevin Stitt said Thursday. “If you’re a defense contractor, if you’re doing research, you need to be located in Oklahoma,” he said.

Hitt says Chickasha development envisioned as ‘community project’

Speed limit to increase on H.E. Bailey turnpike

OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority voted to raise the speed limit on a 59-mile section of the H.E. Bailey turnpike from 75 miles per hour to 80, but when it goes into effect is unclear.
