Pratt & Whitney to invest $255M in engine sustainment center near Tinker AFB

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. – Pratt & Whitney, a Raytheon Technologies business, announced plans to invest $255 million through 2028 in a world-class sustainment facility in Oklahoma City.

Bordwine’s $6.65M DEQ fine is unpaid; fires investigated by OSBI, Fire Marshal

OKLAHOMA CITY — A record $6.65 million administrative fine which the executive director of the state Department of Environmental Quality assessed against a Chickasha company that was storing large volumes of hand sanitizer in Grady County where fires erupted last year remains unpaid.

AAFB to conduct large formation exercise March 24

ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. – The 97th Air Mobility Wing will be conducting a large formation exercise starting at 9:00 a.m. on March 24, 2023. A large formation exercise involves most or all operational aircraft from a unit taxiing and taking off rapidly within short succession of each other.

Trespasser loses lawsuit against ODOT

OKLAHOMA CITY — A lawsuit filed by a 59-year-old Tulsa woman who trespassed on state Transportation Department property and fell into a hole while riding a bicycle in a restricted highway system drainage area late at night has been dismissed.
