City renames drive to honor former councilman

LAWTON – The drive leading up to East Side Park will have a new name, honoring the longest-serving council member in Lawton’s history.

Parks and Rec Commission available for feedback

LAWTON – As the Lawton Youth Sports Authority begins to take over the city’s recreation through youth sports, the chairperson of the Parks and Recreation Commission wants to remind citizens of their role in the community, city officials said in a news release.

Hochatown to get November incorporation vote

HOCHATOWN – The 307 residents just might get their ZIP Code back. On Monday, the McCurtain County Board of Commissioners unanimously voted to approve a petition for public vote on the incorporation of the small southeastern Oklahoma community.
