OKLAHOMA CITY – Total state tax collections for Fiscal Year 2020 were $6.27 billion, which was $716.1 million (10.2%) below the fiscal year estimate and $586.8 million (8.6%) below prior year collections, the state Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) reported.

LAWTON – An agreement over a fee charged for disposal of debris that Comanche County crews are picking up on county roads in the vicinity of the municipal landfill is being discussed by the county commissioners and city officials.

LAWTON – Because the Comanche County jail constantly exceeds its authorized capacity of inmates, “We may have to come up with a long-term contract” with another agency to house excess detainees, Western District County Commissioner Alvin Cargill announced Monday.
