State attorneys general are finding a national settlement over the toll of opioids to be elusive, as some lawyers for state and local governments are renewing public criticism of the proposed deal with a group of companies led by the nation’s largest drug distributors.

HOUSTON (AP) – KBR Inc. (KBR) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter net income of $58 million. The Houston-based company said it had net income of 40 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and amortization costs, were 46 cents per share. The results beat Wall Street expectations.

MONROE, Mich. (AP) – La-Z-Boy Inc. (LZB) on Tuesday reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $34.5 million. The Monroe, Michigan-based company said it had net income of 74 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring gains, came to 72 cents per share.
