OKLAHOMA CITY — Brandy Wreath, longtime director of the Public Utility Division of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, has been appointed the agency’s interim Director of Administration effective June 2, Commission Chair Dana Murphy announced Friday.

Tim Rhodes, the agency’s Director of Administration for the past seven years, has accepted the post of Executive Secretary of the University of Oklahoma Board of Regents, Ms. Murphy reported.

“Tim Rhodes has been devoted and dedicated to the employees and the work performed at the Commission,” Ms. Murphy said. “We wish him well in his new position and extend our deepest thanks for his years of service here.”

The three commissioners also thanked Wreath for agreeing to serve as interim director of administration. “In his years leading the Public Utility Division, Brandy has done an outstanding job, and we know that will continue in his new position,” Murphy said.

Wreath has been the Public Utility Division director for “a little under 10 years,” said Matt Skinner, the commission’s public information manager.

The Corporation Commission has approximately 532 employees, Skinner said.
