House leader announces committee chairs, vice chairs

OKLAHOMA CITY – House Speaker Charles McCall (R-Atoka) recently announced the leadership for the House of Representatives’ standing committees.

Those committees – which cover subject and policy areas ranging from Agriculture to Rural Development – examine legislative proposals before they are heard by the full House. While the Legislature doesn’t officially meet until February, some subcommittees of the chambers full Appropriation Committee are already meeting with agency officials.
