Local residents and visitors converged on downtown Chickasha for the annual Rock Island Weekend Sept. 27-28. Scores of cyclists of all ages participated in a charity bike ride Saturday. Other activities during the two days included a halfmile walk to raise funds and awareness of domestic violence, a food truck championship, vendor booths, an arts festival featuring artists and craftspeople, demonstrations, performers and musicians.
