From staff reports Sample ballots are now available for the Feb. 11 special election for Chattanooga and Fletcher Public Schools, according to a news release from the Comanche County Election Board.
Voters may download a sample ballot using the Oklahoma State Election Board’s OK Voter Portal at oklahoma.gov/ elections/ovp or pick up a copy at the Comanche County Election Board during normal business hours.
Sample ballots are specific to each voter, said Comanche County Election Board Secretary Amy Sims.
“If the OK Voter Portal indicates that you have no sample ballots available, it means you are not eligible to vote in an upcoming election,” she said in the news release. “We recommend checking the OK Voter Portal to make sure you have an election before heading to the polls.”
Sims said sample ballots will also be posted outside every precinct polling place the day of the election, so voters can review them before casting a vote.
The Comanche County Election Board is located at 315 SW Fifth St., Room 206, and is open from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For questions, contact the Election Board at 580-3531880 or email comanchecounty@elections. ok.gov.
