Crawford & Associates has been hired to gather demographic and financial data from cities “similar to Lawton” for a statistical analysis comparing Lawton to those communities.
City officials said the purpose of the research is a comprehensive analysis of “commonalities and differences” between Lawton and the peer cities. The scope of services in the $25,000 study includes:
• Identification of key similarities and differences across various metrics.
• Preparation of statistical analysis comparing Lawton to comparable cities.
• Collection of demographic and financial data from municipalities similar to Lawton. “This comparative analysis will provide valuable benchmarking information that can inform future policy decisions and strategic planning initiatives,” Mayor Stan Booker said.
Records indicate the study is to be finished by June 30.
