A new business – Chickasha Trailer – is expected to open soon.
Mayor Zach Grayson said he and Ty Pool of Ninnekah will rent a building behind Grayson’s Dragoon Graphics on South Fourth Street. They expect to occupy the building May 1 and open for business “sometime between mid-May and June 1,” Grayson said.
They intend to focus on trailer repairs, at least initially. “We’ll even provide emergency repairs, such as when a trailer has a tire blowout, within a 50-mile radius” of Chickasha, Grayson said. “We’ll do some fabrication, such as ball hitch replacements, redeck the rotten wood in a trailer, and rewire it if it needs new lights.” The building they’re renting has a twobay shop.
Trailer rentals are planned in phase 2,” Grayson said. A fleet of utility trailers, car haulers, and livestock trailers is envisioned, he said.
Phase 3 will be trailer sales. Their location “has about an acre of land,” he said.
“If there’s a need and a demand, we’ll fill it,” Grayson vowed.
