Sample ballots are now available for the Aug. 25 runoff primary and special election, according to a news release from the Comanche County Election Board.
Voters may view or download a sample ballot using the Oklahoma State Election Board’s OK Voter Portal at oklahoma.gov/ elections/ovp or pick up a copy at the Comanche County Election Board during normal business hours.
Sample ballots are tailored to each voter and their precinct, said Comanche County Election Board Secretary Amy Sims. She said only voters who have an election will be able to view a sample ballot in the portal.
“If the OK Voter Portal indicates that you have no sample ballots available, it means you are not eligible to vote in an upcoming election,” Sims said. “We recommend checking the OK Voter Portal to make sure you have an election before heading to the polls.”
Sample ballots will also be posted outside every precinct polling place the day of the election, so voters may review them before casting their votes, Sims said.
