Southwest Ledger plans to honor 12 local leaders making Oklahoma a Top 10 State

LAWTON - Twelve southwestern Oklahomans who have worked to make the state a Top 10 state will be recognized by the Southwest Ledger on the first day of 2020, officials with the newspaper recently announced.

Nomination for the Southwestern Top 12 are open now and will continue until midnight, Nov. 29. Once finalized, the top 52 nominees will be honored with a special dinner on Dec. 12 and the top 12 residents will be revealed on Jan. 1 at 12:10 a.m. To qualify, nominees must live in one of these 11 counties: Comanche, Stephens, Kiowa, Jackson, Tillman, Cotton, Grady, Harmon, Greer, Caddo or Jefferson counties. A nominee must be between 21 and 45 years of age and employed by a local company or volunteer within local organizations.
