Comanche Co. Republicans set precinct meetings and County Convention

LAWTON - The Comanche County Republican Party will hold its precinct meetings and County Convention on Tuesday, Feb. 11, CCRP reports.

Both events will be held at the Great Plains Technology Center auditorium, 4500 W. Lee Blvd., Lawton. Those attending will have the opportunity to sign up for the 4th District Convention that will be held March 20-21 in Pauls Valley. Delegates will also be chosen for the State Convention May 1-2. Registration for the precinct meetings and convention begins at 5:30 p.m. Precinct meeting(s) will be held from 6 to 7:00 p.m. The County Convention will immediately follow.

You must be a registered Republican to participate in the evening’s activities. Please bring your ID, voter ID, and precinct number. If you do not know your precinct or other voter information, contact the Comanche County Election Board at 580-355- 1880.

There is a $10 per person delegate fee Tuesday evening that will include sloppy joes, drinks, and snacks. We are asking those attending - who are able - to bring a dessert (brownies, cake, cookies) which will be shared. Any left may be auctioned. Precinct meetings are the backbone of our grassroots political system. Your attendance and participation are very important. Please make every effort to attend.
