Cache to retain fee for fireworks permits

CACHE — Cache’s fee for fireworks permits will remain in place. The Cache City Council debated whether to abolish the fee June 12 but did not take action, leaving the fee intact.

Cache looking for new police chief

CACHE — Cache is starting the search for a new police chief to replace outgoing Police Chief Rickey Snider, who resigned earlier this month. The Cache City Council voted unanimously April 10 to accept Snider’s resignation and appoint Zachariah Phelps as interim police chief.

Quilt shop starts program to help foster children

CACHE  – Mandy Martine-Ralston still remembers the day when her family adopted her sister and four other children, who were carrying trash bags that held their belongings. “Even as a small child, I noticed that that was, to me, a little sad,” Martine-Ralston said Tuesday.
