Oklaunion power plant in North Texas to close

OKLAHOMA CITY – A coal-fired electricity generating plant in north Texas that is owned in part by Public Service Co. of Oklahoma (PSO) will be retired this fall.

Medicine Park’s mayor last Friday ordered all businesses, including restaurants and coffee shops, to close at midnight and to remain shuttered until at least April 21 because of the escalating coronavirus pandemic.
