Comanche County Excise Board rejects Commissioner John’s proposed county budget

LAWTON – The Comanche County budget that Commissioner Ryan John proposed was rejected by the Excise Board after a blistering critique from long-time Chairman J.P. Richard.

Comanche County’s Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution in September of 2020 which called for a 10-year extension of a 3/8ths of a cent county sales tax.
