Doctors encourage flu vaccination for all Oklahomans, especially youth

OKLAHOMA CITY - With many weeks of the flu season remaining, the number of flu-associated hospitalizations and deaths are expected to increase prompting state officials to encourage flu shots.

Flu is a growing concern for Oklahoma seniors

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Two years after more than 60,000 people died from the flu, the federal government said it is no closer to solving distribution problems that created shortages again this year of the high-dose vaccine designed for senior citizens.
