After a second consecutive weekend of record-breaking COVID-19 cases, Gov. Kevin Stitt decided to implement new measures to contend with the outbreaks across the Sooner State. Executive orders issued Monday called for all bars and restaurants to close at 11 p.m.

Governor signs juvenile justice protection bill

OKLAHOMA CITY – The governor signed a bill to protect children ages 12 and younger from being placed in a state juvenile detention facility unless all alternatives have been exhausted and the child is charged with an offense that would be classified as a felony if committed by an adult.
