MARLOW – Former Marlow Municipal Judge John Alexander has heard every excuse in the book why motorists were speeding, driving drunk or vicious dogs were running loose. Alexander, 60, called it quits after 22 years as the city’s municipal judge.

LAWTON – How many ministers have performed 500 weddings? Over a life time, perhaps a lot. How many do you suppose have performed 450 to 500 weddings in a single year? Probably not a lot. But Comanche County Special District Judges Susan Zwaan and Grant Sheperd have.
