Wildlife Department monitoring key bills in Legislature

OKLAHOMA CITY – With a new legislative session comes new bills from the House and Senate addressing matters related to wildlife in Oklahoma, an issue, obviously, of great importance to the state Department of Wildlife Conservation.

Legislature will mull new four-day school week standards

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) – The Oklahoma Legislature will consider new rules that would raise the student performance standards for schools to operate on a four-day work week. The Oklahoma State Board of Education voted Thursday in favor of adopting the new standards starting in the 2021-22 school year.
