OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma’s Department of Corrections spent about $43.5 million on health care for more than 30,000 inmates during the 2018 fiscal year, a corrections official told lawmakers Wednesday.

Proactive Legislative Group Meets, Talks Medicaid Expansion

OKLAHOMA CITY – A legislative ‘working group’ charged with developing a way to expand Medicaid coverage in Oklahoma met for the first time Aug. 14, gathering information from the Oklahoma State Department of Health and the Oklahoma Health Care Authority.
