2020 brings higher labor costs for small businesses

NEW YORK – Small businesses have plenty of changes to deal with as 2020 begins. Many companies will see higher labor costs as of Jan. 1, there are higher minimum wages in a quarter of the states and new federal rules that require more than a million workers to now be paid overtime.
