Lawton moves forward with tech park plan

A former Sears department store in Lawton’s Central Mall may not sit empty much longer.
Pictured are OAC Commissioner Jerry Hunter, OAC Commissioner Jim Putnam, Melissa Pepper, Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma, OAC’s Adam Fox, Aerospace and Aviation Education Coordinator, and Shannon Evers, Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma. Thirty-nine different entities were awarded Aerospace and Aviation Education Program grants totaling over $299,235. The Girl Scouts of Western Oklahoma received a $15,000 grant.
