Congressional vaping proponent takes a step back

WASHINGTON, D.C. — One of the biggest proponents of electronic cigarettes has taken a step back after the emergence of more information in the wake of at least 33 deaths since the crisis began. U.S. Rep.
As of Oct. 1, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have confirmed more than 800 instances of lung illness and 14 deaths nationwide. Every case has been linked to a history of vaping.
