Report: Most of state experiencing drought

For the month of December, rainfall totals averaged 1 inch throughout the state, with the east-central district recording the highest precipitation at 2.99 inches and the Panhandle district recording the lowest with trace amounts, according to the U.S.

Drought spreads across western part of Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY – Drought conditions continue to spread across western Oklahoma and have settled in 18% of the state – including Southwestern Oklahoma – as 2019 came to a close. Moderate Drought or worse (D1 to D3) has expanded from 11% three months ago and 13.
