This historic bridge in Medicine Park was constructed in 1906, the year before Statehood, according to Oklahoma Department of Transportation records. The bridge is 147 feet long and almost 21 feet wide. The one lane structure features a steel pony truss frame with a wooden deck.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Although the maximum load limit is only five tons on the historic “auto bridge” in Medicine Park, the structure remains sound, Oklahoma Department of Transportation engineers have told The Ledger.
