Lawton waterline break

MAJOR LEAK – During Tuesday’s Lawton City Council meeting, Ward 5 Councilman Sean Fortenbaugh expressed concern about “water breaks in town; there are a lot of them.” This river of treated water is from a waterline break that has been reported to city officials more than once in recent days.

Water line to WMWR not expected for awhile

LAWTON – Apparently it will be several more weeks, at the earliest, before construction can start on a water line to the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge. The project has not gone out for bids yet, David Farmer, manager of the WMWR, confirmed Tuesday.
