Stitt signs 'securitization' legislation

OKLAHOMA CITY – A pair of measures to allow extraordinary energy costs incurred by utilities during the subfreezing February winter weather to be “securitized” was signed by Gov. Kevin Stitt on April 23 and went into effect immediately.

Reactions to Stitt speech fall along party lines

OKLAHOMA CITY – Depending on who you asked, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt’s State of the State speech Monday was either a strong success or a cause for concern. Monday afternoon, Republicans praised the speech and said they appreciated Stitt’s acknowledgment of their work.

Stitt pledges to work in tandem with Legislature

Stitt sets new rules to fight COVID

After a second consecutive weekend of record-breaking COVID-19 cases, Gov. Kevin Stitt decided to implement new measures to contend with the outbreaks across the Sooner State. Executive orders issued Monday called for all bars and restaurants to close at 11 p.m.
