Winter ’21 storm bonds challenged

OKLAHOMA CITY — A former state lawmaker contends that ratepayer-backed bonds which would be issued to pay for the extraordinary costs utility companies incurred during the winter storm last year are “unconscionable” if not unconstitutional.

FEMA to cover some winter storm damages

OKLAHOMA CITY – Despite the presidential declaration of a state of emergency in Oklahoma because of the recent winter storm, Cotton County commissioners indicated they do not intend to apply for federal assistance.
