DHS to close some offices

OKLAHOMA CITY – The state Department of Human Services will close half of its “brick-and-mortar facilities” in the months ahead, including six offices in southwest Oklahoma, Director Justin Brown announced recently.
Attorney General Mike Hunter and newly appointed Department of Human Services (DHS) Director Justin Brown recently called for a renewed focus to combat child abuse after Senate Bill 576 went into effect last month and schools around the state have resumed classes.  SB 576 amends the reporting requirements for public school employees.
