Laredo sees 3Q loss

TULSA (AP) - Laredo Petroleum Inc. (LPI) on Tuesday reported a third-quarter loss of $264.6 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier. On a per share basis, the Tulsa based company said it had a loss of $1.14.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Chesapeake Energy Corp. on Tuesday reported a third-quarter loss of $61 million, after reporting a profit in the same period a year earlier. On a per-share basis, the Oklahoma City based company said it had a loss of 6 cents.
