Recent graduates from Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill lined up in 6-foot increments last week and were screened for flu-like symptoms before they were loaded up and transported to their first unit assignment. Ninety-one AIT graduates in field artillery and air defense artillery military occupational specialties waited in Rinehart Fitness Center for disinfected buses to arrive and take them to Fort Hood, Texas. AIT has been largely suspended at Fort Sill because of the coronavirus pandemic, but will resume on April 22, Maj. Gen. Kenneth Kamper, the post commander, announced recently.
