Chickasha police chief resigns

CHICKASHA — The City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to approve a separation agreement with Police Chief Kathryn Rowell.

Rowell, hired in 2019, made history as Chickasha’s first female chief of police. She joined the Chickasha Police Department after retiring as a captain from the Fort Worth, Texas, Police Department, where she served for 32 years.

Assistant Chief of Police Goebel Music will continue as Interim Police Chief.
