The city of Lawton’s Stormwater Management Division is asking residents to call the division’s hotline to report any recent flood damage, according to a news release from City Hall.
To report flood damage, residents may call the hotline at (580) 581-3565. The hotline is a voicemail where people can leave a message to report their flood damage. People should include the following information in their message:
- Name.
- Contact number.
- Address.
- Date of flood damage.
- Time of flood damage.
- Depth of water (inches) on the exterior of the home and depth of water in the interior.
The Stormwater Management Division collects this information to track flood prone areas and high-water marks, help determine substantial structural damage and document potential Federal Emergency Management Agency disaster claim locations.
